Land Snail Breeder

Hi! I'm Taylor, the owner of Milkyway Snails. I raise and breed Milk snails, Helix lucorum, and Asian Tramp snails. I may expand my keeping to grove snails, Cepaea nemoralis, in the future, but that may not be for a while. If you are interested in snails, please message or call me at the number 512-772-9330. I usually answer faster to emails or texts as I am quite busy and may not answer your call. You can also click the message button at the top of this page to contact me that way.

Psst ~ You also may see me online under the name Milkyway Exotics! That is techincally my business's full name as I also breed and sell reptiles. However that is done elsewhere and this website is mainly for snails only so my name is changed to specify that. :)

Featured in A Real Bug's Life

Dusty, my milk snail, was featured in a quick scene in National Geographic's A Real Bug's Life on Disney Plus. You can see him for a second in episode 5, Braving the Backyard.

Our Snails

I take pride in the snails I sell. I carefully choose pairs and ensure no runts are sold. You will only be getting healthy, strong snails. Babies get complete access to calcium and food 24/7 in their own tank, away from adults.

Prices

Currently no snails available, but you can be added to our waitlist and be notified when snails are available by sending a message with your email below asking to be added to the waitlist.
$8 per Adult Milk Snail
$5 per Adult Cornu Aspersum
$5 per Adult Asian Tramp Snail
$50 per Adult Helix Lucorum
$60 per Adult Helix Pomatia

Shipping Info and Baby Information

Clutches of babies are offered occasionally when I have surplus to allow people to raise their own snails. Babies will be sold in groups of 15-30 as some will be runts and a large clutch will allow the buyer to end up with a good amount of adults.

Baby prices: Prices of baby clutches vary greatly and depend on how many I have. A surplus of Asian Tramp snails may allow a clutch of 15 babies to be around $20 while a clutch of 20 Milk snails may be $35. Ages of the clutch also is taken into account. Each clutch sold will have it's own price, but expect a price range of $20 - $50.

Shipping: Shipping is done through USPS and is typically 4 day shipping. I only ship in the fall and spring, but I can offer cold packs for summer shipping if the buyer pays extra for the pack and understands that summer shipping is risky with the heat.
I have found shipping prices are usually from $9 - $15 depending on how far the buyer is.
(I do not currently offer heat packs for winter shipping, but I may offer it in the future.)
